(1)
This is how I load my brush for petals and leaves
|
(2)
Here the brush is loaded to do accent work like the center of the flower and the veins in the leaves.
|
(3)
First I start with one little petal. It looks better if the petals are not perfectly shaped.
|
(4)
Then do the same thing all the way around...making sure you have enough room for 5 petals.
|
(5)
Load up the brush with a dark green and lay down a leaf. I set the brush down and sort of push the green paint forward so it looks like it is coming out from under the flower and then pull it out to a point. Again if it is not too perfectly shaped it looks better.

And add a couple more...
|
(7)
Get a very tiny amount of white paint on your brush to do accent work..just paint little lines on each petal and then load your brush again and paint a stamen for the flower. Don't forget the dots at the end.
|
(8)
With a tiny amount of red paint on your brush...paint a red line down the middle of the flower stamen.
|
(9)
Now with some pale green load a tiny amount of paint on the brush and add veins to the leaves. Wait a sec for it to dry...top coat and your done!
