colored acrylic tutorials mixing glitter
Glitter must be first combined with clear acrylic powder before you can use it. This lesson gives you a guideline to make sure you have the right glitter to powder ratio.
mixing glitter & colored powders
Glitter can also be mixed with colored acrylic powder instead of clear powder. When you start combining glitters and colored powders the possibilities are really endless.
color drops
Color drops can be added to monomer (acrylic liquid) to change it's color. Color drops come in blue, yellow and red. You can use these three colors to create lots of colors and shades.
color fade
I am going to demonstrate how to fade or blend two colors of glitter. This looks really cool!
blue and silver tips
These nails can be created in many different colors. I love them in blue and silver!
imbedded pink hearts
These pink hearts are imbedded between colored acrylic and clear acrylic. They are very popular around Valentines day.
translucent color blends
I am going to show you how to make your own custom color blends with colored acrylic and glitter.
white tips with imbedded hearts
There are so many different ways to use these little heart pieces. For this one I will use red hearts and cut out pink hearts on white tips.
hearts over smile line
This looks so cute on a real nail. I like it because it is different than what I usually do which is very crisp smile lines.
imbedding stars on clear tips
You can create lots of great designs on clear tips as well as on forms. For this design I will be using a mix of clear glitters and clear powder, green stars and yellow stars.
imbedded stars over smile line
This is a design that I do not use reverse application technique on so it would work great for techs who do not use an electric file.
color block with crushed shells
These nails are very popular. I use color drops and imbed crushed shells to create this look.
1.
These nails use colored monomer drops and look so cool because of how translucent they are. When done in red they look like red jello. You can use any combination of red, yellow, blue drops to create your own colors of course.

I have received so many comments on this nail design. You can use any combo of colors of course.
