My name is Christie and I am a nail-a-holic. No just kidding. But I do love nails. I love wearing nails, doing nails, teaching people about nails. Just love it.
I have created this website to share that love of nails with other people. I maintain this site myself so please forgive me if you find any glitches.
I am located in Hawaii on the Big Island. I own a salon called Ocean View Salon & Christie's Nails. We are a full service salon and we have a great little group of people there.
I have been a licensed nail technician in Hawaii for 11 years. I have had my own salon for 3 years.
I started using Young Nails products 6 years ago and love the product so much that I became an educator for them. I really enjoyed traveling to nail shows to work as an educator at the Young Nails booths. It is great fun and you really learn so much just from being exposed to the best nail techs out there. I stopped traveling so much when I had a baby (followed by another 2 years later). It is not so much fun to leave little ones at home. You miss them too much. I still try to make it to nail shows when I can and do hope to be able to travel more in the future.
I started my website 10 years ago. It has gone through many changes. I added a paid site that I publish a lot of tutorials to. I plan to keep expanding my sites.
